AND NOW, this day of June, 2008, it is hereby ordered that the attached Northampton
County Rule of Criminal Procedure N-801, Qualification To Serve As Counsel In a Capital Case,
is adopted. Said rule is effective immediately.

N 801-QUALIFICATION TO SERVE AS DEFENSE COUNSEL IN A CAPITAL CASE
In all cases in which the District Attorney has filed a Notice of Aggravating
Circumstances pursuant to PA.R.CRIM. P. 802, before an attorney may participate in the case
either as retained or appointed counsel for defendant, the attorney shall file a statement certifying
qualification to serve as defense counsel in a capital case pursuant to PA.R.CRIM. P. 801.
